Iconic Greece Group Tour Banner

Greece is a perfect combination of ancient history, picturesque islands, great cuisine and warm weather.

If you haven’t been to Greece yet, this is your chance to visit three of the best and most iconic places in this incredible country.

On my Iconic Greece Tour, we will soak in the culture of Athens, wander around the scenic villages of Santorini, and take a dip in some of the most beautiful beaches in the world on the island of Crete.

And why travelling to Greece with me? I’ve been to Greece several times and curated this group tour with some of the best experiences you can have in this incredible country, from the destinations to the location of the hotels, tours, guides and beaches.

Everything is planned and you don’t have to worry about anything, not even how to take good pictures because I’ll also be your photographer 😊

The itinerary is packed with astonishing activities and free time to relax and explore the places at your own pace. There will be no rush, no need to “take another vacation after this vacation”.

We will all have fun together. It will not only be just a holiday, but a trip of a lifetime!

Travelling to Greece

Flights

You are responsible for your air travel to Athens and out from Chania (Crete), airfare is not included in the price.

The best way to find flights to Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos” (ATH) / from Chania International Airport “Ioannis Daskalogiannis” (CHQ) is through Skyscanner.

You can also fly out from Heraklion International Airport “Nikos Kazantzakis” (HER), the second busiest airport in Greece. But in this case, you’ll need to book a transfer (about a two-hour drive).

Insurance

You are responsible for your travel insurance. Travel insurance is mandatory for this trip! If you don’t have one, I can recommend Safetywing, the one I use and trust.

What to pack for Greece

When travelling to Santorini, you should bear in mind that:

The island is full of cobblestone streets, stairs, hills and narrow alleyways. A pair of comfy shoes is a must.

The average temperature in May and October ranges from 16C (61F) to 22C (71F). You can expect lovely sunny days and chilly nights.

The best fabrics for hot weather are linen, chambray, lightweight wool (aka summer wool), and cotton. But forget thick cotton T-shirts and choose lighter ones. Avoid fabrics like rubber, leather, polyester, acrylic and denim.

For more insight on what to wear in Santorini, check my post. Remember that these are just recommendations though.

Extras costs

If you’re wondering about the additional costs you will have in Greece, with food, drinks, souvenirs, etc, you can expect to spend an average of € 20/meal in a regular restaurant and €50 in a better one.

Arriving/Departing

In case you want to arrive earlier in Athens and/or stay longer in Crete/Greece you can find accommodations here. I can also assist you with the planning.
