Planning to visit the beaches of Portimão, in the Algarve region, Portugal?
In this video, I take a tour of the centre of Portimão and walk along the beaches, starting at Praia da Rocha, the most famous beach in Portimão and one of the best beaches in the Algarve.
Then I go to Praia dos Três Castelos, Amado, Praia dos Careanos, Val and finish at Praia do Alemão, from where you have one of the most beautiful views in Portimão.
In total, I covered 3Km in length and passed by 6 Portimao beaches.
Remember that it is only possible to walk along the beaches when the tide is low. Otherwise, you’ll have to go through the streets.
I go to the Algarve practically every year and I love Portimão.
